Rolling Fork River3/7/2014
While the weather is not yet completly better, we did enjoy the sunshine while taking photos of this new listing. It's always amazing how these small peices of paradise are out there to enjoy for some lucky property owners. Nestled back off the county road with a very private 18.27 acres in South Polk County Arkansas. This property is bordered by the Rolling Fork River which is a 55.4 mile long river in southwest Arkansas. DeQueen Lake is formed by the damming of this River. The Rolling Fork also runs parallel with other tributaries such as the Cossatot River, the Saline River, the Mountain Fork, and Glover River. It is part of the Mississippi watershed.
We take pride in the fact that people enjoy coming to our part of the world for recreation, and understand the desire for some of them to decide to relocate or retire here. It reminds us to enjoy our beautiful surroundings. I grew up in the Wickes and Grannis, Arkansas communities where this property is located, and I must say that there is indeed many places to do such "enjoying". Located just 16 miles North of DeQueen, Arkansas and 30 miles South of Mena, Arkansas, and located in Polk County, this indeed is a beautiful peice of paradise!
